As an elder millenial, I've been on the internet since I was about 8 years old. My parents made me use Mario Teaches Typing and Mavis Beacon teaches typing and wouldn't let me log on until I had the proper way to type under my fingers.

Anyone else remember this?

Once online, I quickly got myself addicted to Neopets and got myself a Myspace account.

But I never blogged.

Others got a LiveJournal but I never felt I had the space or anything to say. Ironic considering in real life, no one can really get me to shut up once I know you. I joke that when I commute with my husband, he gets a 1 hour log 1 person podcast of just me and my thoughts.

Recently though, I have switched job locations and the podcast is now defunct.

I decided to record some of my thoughts here. My work location not being the optimal spot for my rants.

So, at 36, I'm blogging. Though it may not last very long, here it is in all its glory.
